Part of GROWING TOGETHER means leading you into your NEXT STEP in being a committed follower of Jesus.
In a committed relationship in Christ, there is always a NEXT STEP; however, here are the 5 Fundamental Next Steps that we want you to take:
SALVATION
Deliverance from sin and its consequences brought about by faith in Jesus Christ.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith,” (Ephesians 2:8) and it is through the work of Christ that He offers us eternal life in heaven.
BAPTISM
In Water: The rite or ordinance and public profession of faith by which persons are immersed into water and raised up to new life.
In the Holy Spirit: When a believer is immersed in the Holy Spirit and receives extraordinary spiritual power for Christ-exalting ministry.
As a Pentecostal church we believe that there are two baptisms; one in water symbolizing our allegiance to Christ, and one in the Holy Spirit, which is being filled with God’s power.
SMALL GROUP
A micro-community of 3-12 Jesus followers doing the Christian life deeply together.
We believe that life is lived better in community with a spiritual family. We want you to come to church, but we also want you to connect to others within Eastwood so that you can live your life as God created you to live it. We offer groups for Kids, Students, Ladies, and Men.
HABITS
A settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.
We want you to commit to Godly habits and let God help you get rid of sinful habits.
SERVE
To perform duties or services for another person or an organization. For us, this means that we serve God and His Church.
We want you to join a ministry team here, and in doing so serve God and the city of Swainsboro. Join a Ministry Team by completing the Growth Track.
